Fliegender Tish - Café Bistro
Mainzer Strasse
A Latte Macchiato displayed on a silver platter says it all really. I was
surprised to find that in several of the places we visited for a 'sit down and
a cuppa' that many of the lattes served were pretty much milk laden
creations, with little or no taste. So you can imagine just how pleased I was
to find a small graffiti shop front on Mainzer with friendly staff, right
round the corner from our hotel. To be honest, I'd have trundled off every day
just to set eyes on Deanie, the waitress. A gorgeous student of fashion,
pierced, blond, sarcastic, curvy and with a smile that warmed the cockles of
this ageing pervy dyke and worth a flick of anyone's froth. Presentation is
everything they tell me. Well the Fliegender Tish gets it right every time.

Ok, so I have an addiction. You already know this, so it's no surprise
that I had to find a good coffee when visiting Amsterdam for a five day
stint last September. I felt as though my caffeine levels were
critically low and all I wanted was a good meal and a great coffee.
Could we find it in central Amsterdam, could we fuck as like. In fact
the breakfast at the dusty hotel we stayed at was a poor show.

Ooh La Latte

Ooh La Latte?
Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm always on the look out for a la la latte. It's paramount to my waking up of a morning that wherever I am I don the ole hiking boots, rain mac and step into the hunting fields to find me a Cafe Latte. It's become an addiction I don't mind telling you. My intravenous drip that feeds my addiction!
